Like my first polaroid dress, this dress is inspired by the teenage obsession with taking photos. Instagram is populated with countless photos of teenage parties and life. I wanted to make a dress capturing this. However, this dress is constructed from over 400 polaroids taken of the people who attended my debut fashion show. In the hour before the show, myself and my team took photos of each guest and tagged them on the dress in time for it to go down the runway as the final look. This finale brought home the theme that everyone in attendance was and is my chosen family.
