This Jacket is inspired by Willem Dafoe’s custom Prada jacket made for “The Grand Budapest Hotel" by Wes Anderson, and by my love for our contemporary vision of historical pirate culture. This garment is intended as a “villain's outfit”. When I saw Jopling’s jacket in The Grand Budapest Hotel,  I knew I needed to make an iteration of the jacket. The Jacket is made out of fake leather and is lined with maroon wool. The jacket features over 8 sculpting wires stretching across the whole jacket concealed by the lining and connected at the collar. The wires allow the jacket to appear to be blowing in the wind as the model walks. The jacket is fully moldable and is paired with matching leather pants that feature a flap pocket that can be unbuttoned.
