Fitted Belt Pants
Oliver
These pants were inspired by the Maison Margiela belt jacket. I wanted to have my own take on the glorious design. I started by purchasing over 200 belts from ebay and top stitched them to pants which were not closed at the outseams. The belt closures acted as the outseams and became adjustable pants. I created a denim skirt on top of the legs that was connected to the waist of the pants which covered the fly area. The pair had the ends of the belts floating back laying on the ground. The pants weighed over 30 pounds and can be adjusted to anyone's size if you make new holes in each belt.
